Tadpole
- The game play is intuitive since I just assumed to use the mouse.
- The tadpole shakes every once in a while. Especially when I started playing, each time I ate a ball.
- The art is cute.
- The balls hide which adds difficulty but I feel like it could be a problem.
Frog
- The hopping is fun, especially since it increases difficulty and it is a little annoying to manage.
- The bugs going off screen did start to be annoying because they would be off screen for a long while. Here is where I thought having an ending screen would be helpful, so that I can know if I won or not.
Dragon:
- I was a bit disappointed since it just seemed like a faster version of the tadpole. But when I pressed the mouse I saw that there was "fire". This actually made me wonder if clicking the mouse did something in the other two levels, but no.
- I was disappointed when the fire didn't do anything. For a moment i thought it paralyzed the dots, but I was wrong.
- The dragon starts spinning when the mouse is still.
Final thoughts:
I like the simple art. I know this is just a prototype, but if the elevated art could look simple, I think it would look nice. I really enjoyed the frog level. The movement was interesting and it made the game difficult, which is why I was let down when the dragon was not very different. I would really like to see more creative movement patterns!
